The City of Munford is in the process of applying for a parks and recreation grant through the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Recreation Resources Division. The proposed project includes the acquisition a The First Citizens National Bank parcel (0.925 acres) in Downtown Munford to develop Veterans Plaza.
The proposed project will construct an amphitheater, ADA accessible restrooms, pavilions/shade structures, hardscaping (walkways and buffers), seated planters/seat walls, a parallel access drive, sitework and landscaping, signage and site amenities. We are asking for the community’s input on the proposed development.
