The 2022 Fire Prevention week is October 9-15, 2022. This year’s theme – “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan your Escape.” Be fire smart and practice your home fire escape plan with your family.
- The new Ortho Express medical facility is under construction. This is located next to the RedMed Urgent Clinic on Highway 51 south of Tabb Drive.
- There will be a Cornhole tournament benefitting the Firefighter Nick Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund to be held October 14th at the Munford Fire Department. Registration at 6PM, competition begins at 7PM.
- A portion of The Village of Green Meadows “quads” (townhouses) have been built, and will be available for sale in the very near future. This new development runs east off of McCormick Road at Stewart Road.
