Celebrate Munford, Inc. is a non-profit group of citizens from the community, who exist to promote Munford - its people and places. Money raised by this organization is returned to the community through its programs, events, and scholarships.
The Celebrate Committee
This committee is always looking for people to join this small, but effective group and would be enthusiastic about leading the event into new endeavors and achievements for the community. This organization sponsors special events for the public to enjoy each year. The committee meets once a month and if interested please contact any committee member to find out the next meeting information.
What is Celebrate Munford?
Since 1984,Celebrate Munford has sponsored an arts and crafts festival. The festival is a day-long event that is held in the downtown area of Munford and features vending areas for local artists to sell and show off their works. It also features a center stages that features local talent, gospel and country music, and a multitude of musicians and acts. We encourage vendors to attend and sign up for a booth space for a nominal fee.
Celebrate Scholarships and Grants.
Celebrate Munford sponsors three Munford High School Seniors with a Scholarship of $1,500. Scholarship applicants must complete a comprehensive application and interview process. The scholarship is to assist students who can show a financial need and plan to attend college, vocational or trade school in Tennessee.
Celebrate Munford offers grants to local organizations that provide services to the citizens of Munford and Tipton County. Grants to date have exceeded $160,000.
