You’re invited to the dedication of the City of Munford’s Liberty Tree, in conjunction with the Tennessee Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, Isaac Shelby Chapter. Please join us Sunday, April 27 at 3:00 p.m. at City Park (101 College St., Munford). The Liberty Tree dates to pre-Revolutionary Boston, where colonists would gather to resist British rule. Today, they are being planted in honor of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and as a reminder of our veterans’ sacrifices.
