Public Skating
The Munford Recreation Center is open to the public for skating on Friday evenings from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The cost of admission is $5.00 and rental of rollerblades or skates is $2.00. The rink is open to males and females ages 5 - 15. During Friday skate, the Recreation Center/Skating Rink is staffed by 4 - 6 Parks and Recreation employees. A concession stand is open during public skating for a nominal fee. It includes pizza, soda, water, nachos, cheesesticks, ice cream, and candy.
Late Skate
MPR is offering late night skating the first Friday of every month beginning with May 7th. Skating is available from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and is for ages 5-15. The cost for skating is $10, which includes skate rental.
Wednesday Skate
MPR is offering skating every Wednesday in the month of June & July from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and is for ages 5-15. The cost is $5, which includes skate rental.

Private Skating Rink Rentals
The Munford Skating Rink in the Recreation Center is available to rent for a minimum of two hours for various parties, functions, and events. Fees are $40 per hour up to 40 people and $50.00 an hour for 41-75 people. The rental fee must be paid in full to reserve the rink. Skates, music, and a table are provided for the event. One to two workers will be on hand to help in any way possible. Party decorations are allowed but they must be hung up and taken down during the rented time.
