The Munford Parks & Recreation Department's Programs and Recreation Facilities are for the general public's
use. They are offered to individuals and groups regardless of age, sex, race, income, disability or residency.
They are conveniently located and are easily accessible to Munford and Tipton County residents.
The department's staff is continuously striving to develop, oversee, maintain and improve Park Facilities,
Senior Programs, Community Events, Sports Programs, and Recreation Facilities.

Mission of the City of Munford Parks and Recreation Department
To provide a parks and recreation system that is responsible and directed by the needs of people
of Munford.
To preserve, protect and enhance the city's park lands and public green spaces as a way to improve
the physical and mental health of the people of Munford.
To invite and encourage individuals, families, schools, businesses and other community groups to
become partners in our efforts to invigorate and sustain the city's natural and leisure resources.
