Munford is proud to be the home to three of Tipton County´s finest schools. Our community shows its spirit and support of our children´s academic efforts and extra curricular activities in a variety of ways.You can usually find most residents at the high school football stadium on Friday evenings in the fall. Newcomers to the area may notice many homes within our city have a yard sign with maroon and white lettering that lists a particular Cougar football player or cheerleader, and the Munford High School Marching Band has won numerous awards around the state of Tennessee.
