The City of Munford is situated on the west side of US Interstate 51 and has a population of 5,927.  The media household income is $54, 832, which is 26.6% higher than the state median income.  There are 2,578 households, representing an overall growth of 25.9% from year 2000.

Our neighboring community is Atoka, which is located east of Highway 51.  Atoka has a population of 8,367 and a median household income of $74,250 - 71.25% higher than the state median income.  Atoka boasts 2,596 households, representing a 159.3% growth since year 2000.

Together, Munford, Atoka and Brighton, represent South Tipton County.
