        Jake Kinas wants to study Criminal Justice at the University of Memphis or Dyersburg State Community College.  His goal is to be a police officer, possibly a K-9 officer, or pursue being an ATF or DEA agent with state or federal government.  He has also thought about working on the Munford Police force once he completes his secondary education.  Relocating to Munford in 2005, Jake enjoys serving the community he has come to love.
     Throughout high school, Jake has played football and tennis, and ran track (shot put/discus.)  He has also been a member of Future Farmers of America and a volunteer in the green house and sheep barn.  His community involvement includes coaching and volunteering for Munford Parks and Recreation flag football, as well as, volunteering at Centennial Park and Munford soccer fields.
     Jake credits his parents for motivating him to do his very best.  He states his mother has been the real push for him to achieve in school, always providing help with homework and projects.  He wants to reward them by becoming the best adult he can be and being a productive member of the community.
     
 

       Jordan Moreno's passion is to change the world by dedicating her life to foreign missions.  To prepare for this career, she plans to attend the University of Memphis and pursue a bachelor's degree in foreign language with a Spanish concentration.  Jordan believes this will not only prepare her to communicate with people in other countries, but it will also allow her to teach during the periods she is in the United States.
     Achieving a GPA of 3.783, Jordan serves as Secretary of the National Honor Society, Historian of the Spanish Honor Society and held offices in Student Council and Youth Alive.  She is a trumpet section leader in the nationally acclaimed Munford High School Band.  Her church activities include sign language group leader, member of the youth praise band and youth drama team director.  Jordan is a day care worker at a local fitness business.  In addition to the Celebrate Munford scholarship, she will receive the Tennessee Hope scholarship.
     
 

 

 

       Quanesha Richardson believes that Munford is the greatest town in Tennessee and feels a great sense of pride to be a student at Munford HIgh School.  She says receiving the Celebrate Munford scholarship places a stamp on all the hard work she has done during her thirteen years of school.
     While in high school, Quanesha has participated in several community service projects.  These include the Cougar Buddy Read program, Celebrate Munford volunteer team, and Keep Tipton County Beautiful.  She has also been a volunteer for Special Olympics, School Age Child Care program, MHS Tour Guide and a mentor for Cougar Camp.
     Quanesha plans to attend Austin Peay State Universtiy and major in biology and minor in sports medicine.  Her goal is to become a dentist after attending medical school.  To make her college experience enjoyable and worthwhile, Quanesha plans to participate in organizations that focus on faith-based activities, leadership, community service and academics.
