2009 Photography/Art Contest

All area youth, grades K-12, and adult amateur photographers are invited to enter this year’s Celebrate Munford 2009 Photography and Art contest! Young artists simply follow the entry rules below to enter original artwork in the contest. Works will be on display for public viewing in the lobby of Regions Bank during Celebrate Munford on Saturday, September 19th 2009.

2. Artwork must be the original work of the artist entering the contest. All 2D media is accepted (colored pencil, crayon, ink, paint, oils, watercolors, pastels, etc.) on paper or canvas board that is 8 X 10 to 8 1/2" X 11" size only

3. Do not frame your art. Artwork must be mounted (taped or glued) on mat board forms a 3" boarder around the work.

4. Entrants must attach the completed entry form to the back of the artwork by using tape. Please do not put your name on the front of your artwork. Your name should be on entry form which is taped to the back.

5. Artwork is to be submitted to Regions Bank, located at 86 Tipton Rd., in downtown Munford during normal business hours. Entry deadline is Friday September 10, 2009.

1. Each person may enter one photo in each category:
      People
      Scenes of Munford
    Your photo may be black and white or color.

2. Photos must be an 8 X 10 print (any size other than 8 X 10 will not be accepted as of this year).

3. Do not frame your photo. Artwork must be mounted (taped or glued) on white mat board that forms a 3" border around the
   work.

4. Entrants must attach the completed entry form to the back of the photo by using tape. Please do not put your name on the front
    of your photo. Your name should be on entry form which is taped to the back.
